Project Description

Yulexi earned a degree in English Literature from the University of Havana in 2001 and is fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian. His diverse professional background includes work as a translator/interpreter, diplomat, and banker. However, it was when he transitioned to massage therapy that he discovered his true calling.
In 2015, Yulexi graduated from Sutherland Chan School and Teaching Clinic, where he developed a deep appreciation for the physical and emotional connections that skilled, nurturing hands can foster between therapist and client. His experience working with a wide range of patients has made him a knowledgeable and well-rounded therapist. Having worked in both interdisciplinary clinics and a hotel spa, Yulexi tailors his treatments to suit individual needs, offering both therapeutic approaches and relaxing massages. He utilizes techniques such as myofascial release, joint mobilizations, clinical assessments, and remedial exercises to provide a personalized experience for each client.
Yulexi recently completed four years of intensive study at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, becoming an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. He is deeply passionate about the musculoskeletal system and believes that structural imbalances in the body can lead to dysfunction and disease. His approach emphasizes the connection between structure and function, and he is dedicated to supporting overall health through osteopathy.
In his free time, Yulexi enjoys spending time with friends, connecting with nature, reading anatomy books, cooking, exercising, biking, traveling, and listening to people’s stories.
